Erwin is a notary based in Amsterdam from 2005 and was previously affiliated with law firms DLA Piper, CMS and N/P. He has gained experience in the broad (international) real estate practice. Erwin will expand our practice in the field of commercial real estate law. He advises diverse national and international parties such as investors, property developers and financiers, as well as municipalities and social organisations, such as housing corporations. His specialist knowledge is not only based in the legal instruments such as ground lease, qualitative clauses and divisions in apartment rights, but also the various agreements in the fields of rent and construction as well as the energy market. He often operates in queries combined with corporate law.
Erwin graduated in Notarial Law at the University of Groningen. He then completed the Professional Education for Notaries as well as the specialist course for Real Estate Development at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate (part of the MSRE education). Erwin regularly writes articles for Vastgoed Fiscaal & Civiel, lectured at the eduction for Notary Clerks and is a board member of the Association of Notarial Real Estate Specialists (NRS).
