Maarten Oostermeyer has been appointed as a notary in the municipality of Alkmaar. Maarten started as a candidate notary at Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam in 2017. His work initially focused on real estate law, but as from 2019 he has focused on corporate law in its broadest sense. Maarten specialises in corporate law, with experience in mergers and acquisitions and assists both national and international companies, ranging from start-ups to multinationals, in transactions, (cross-border) restructurings, corporate governance, joint ventures, private equity, investment funds, family funds and employee participation schemes. As a result, he advises a large number of national and international companies on their corporate structure and corporate governance.
Maarten is also closely involved in both direct and indirect real estate transactions and advises on (international) financing and security rights, project development and park management.
Maarten studied Dutch Law and Notarial Law at VU University Amsterdam and is a member of the Royal Notarial Association.
